After a concert at the Berlin Comic Opera, Kremerata Baltica is visiting Cesis! Inspired by his founder, outstanding violinist Gidon Kremer, the orchestra has prepared a program with two contrasting parts. In the first part, we will hear vivid pieces of classical music in tango mood by Astor Pjacoll and Latvian composer Arturs Maskats.
In the second part of the concert, we will enjoy compositions by Polish composer Milos Magin - Stabat Mater and the first premiere in Latvia of the Magin's Third Piano Concerto performed by the special guest of the concert, French pianist Lucas Debargue.
